Primary school gives you two pages of spells, Secondary gives you one page. If you play your first game on story/explorer you can take your time and will eventually learn over half of the available spells which can help you in decided what to pick for your next game. Obviously Earthmaster pairs well with artificer, Nature with alchemy, and Death with necromancer, but you can pair other schools as well for powerful combinations. Necromancer is probably the most powerful but has the highest learning curve.Įvery school of magic is powerful in it's own way, I would just pick what sounds good to you. IMO, pick a craft and the schools of magic that sound fun and start off with either story mode or explorer.Īlchemy creates consumables to use in combat.Īrtificer creates glyphs that can be put on units to buff them.Īrtificer is probably the easiest to pick up on, followed by alchemy and necromancer. If you started with Guardian magic, which can buff damage against undead and demons.you are probably going to have a bit of an easier time with them as opposed to the mages that use units resistant to white damage. Just an example but two of them use undead and one of them uses demons. You can cheese the game by picking specific ones. Other than that you pretty much have to look here or the spellforce reddit for specific information.Īs far as protagonist go, random is best. You can google the recipes for alchemist, necromancer and artificer easy enough though, can also google conquest of eo spells and find a website that shows the first 3 pages of each school of magic. I found a website that listed all the units with stats but haven't been able to find it again.
